Levi van Veluw – Origin of the Beginning offers an overview of photographs, drawings, installations, sculptures and videos from 2006 to 2013.
This special book is a work of art in itself. Besides beautiful reproductions of the works of art, the book contains a special handmade wooden cube. This cube is placed in a square hole that is stamped throughout the book. This wooden element refers to some of the works from Levi van Veluw, and can be considered as an essential basic element with which his work is built.
This book is made of dark brown fibre cardboard, with embossed characters (foil printing) on beautiful 150 g/m² of quality paper and contains special pull-out pages. Levi van Veluw is a multidisciplinary artist who lives and works in the Netherlands. Since graduating from the Artez Art Academy in Arnhem, he has achieved extraordinarily much in a remarkable short time.
His work has been exhibited at many different locations throughout Europe and the United States, including exhibitions at the American Museum of Arts and Design (NYC), Maison Particulière (BE) and the Bromer Art Collection (CH). He is the winner of a number of prestigious awards, including the ‘Photographer of the Year award’ initialized by the International Photo Awards, USA.
