We are pleased to present 'Evergreens from around Europe', released in honour of Big Green Egg's 50th, golden anniversary. An edition like this, with a unique combination of recipes and music, has not appeared before. The golden collector's edition contains the best evergreens for cooking and listening. Bundled in a specially designed record case, you will find a recipe book, a music book and three LPs. Easy listening, matching easy cooking on the Big Green Egg.
The recipe book contains more than sixty evergreen dishes from various European countries. Each recipe is accompanied by a story highlighting the country's culinary culture and favourite ingredients. Executive Chef Michèl Lambermon has upgraded and adapted the recipes to make them suitable for Big Green Egg preparation.
Journalist and TV presenter Leo Blokhuis selected no less than thirty songs on the three golden LPs, all evergreens with a strong soul. All songs have been re-produced respecting the original music. The albums feature prominent artists such as singer Ellen ten Damme, concert pianist Iris Hond, Golden Earring drummer Cesar Zuiderwijk and Sven Figee on his unmistakable Hammond organ. In the music book, you can find background stories to all the songs on the LPs and original album cover photos.
'Evergreens from around Europe' comes in an edition of 1974 (the year Big Green Egg was born) numbered copies and also includes an exclusive Cesar Zuiderwijk photo, taken and signed by photographer Patricia Steur.
