‘Dutch Looks Mixed' is an interactive book, fun for both young and old. In this book you'll find more than 100 portraits - or rather 'historical selfies' - of the great Masters from the Rijksmuseum collection. Patricia Brouwer and Anneke van Dijk have divided each portrait into three parts, resulting in infinite variations of new combined portraits. Various ranks and positions, ages, genders and cultures are blended. This creates new ultra-multi-cultural portraits.
At the back of the book are the original paintings including a short description and a code. This code can be used to search for more information at rijksstudio.nl.
